It's actually here where the rubber meets the road. Teachers need to know what to do, when to do, and how to do it. However, they also need to know that they have the power to decide when to take action. They need to view themselves as leaders who play an essential and authentic role in executing change or reform.Lynnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01737496158088818574noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7406774932313851043.post-4763395954963434782010-08-12T06:17:23.305-05:002010-08-12T06:17:23.305-05:00Wow! it's a very good idea of make kids play w...Wow! it's a very good idea of make kids play with kids learning toy.It increases the creativity in a kid's thinking.Laser Pegshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11525667471165121404noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7406774932313851043.post-91528031475847802802010-08-02T15:27:00.647-05:002010-08-02T15:27:00.647-05:00Keep in mind that there is a margin of error in th...Keep in mind that there is a margin of error in these assessments, particularly since you are not acting as a principal at this time. However, these assessments provide great value by organizing leadership behaviors within particular constructs, giving you a general framework to think about and use as you begin the journey in building your own leadership style. These assessments should also help guide you in selecting your internship setting so you can work on specific areas (i.e., curriculum instruction and assessment, monitoring, and relationships) in which you feel you need more experience.Lynnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01737496158088818574noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7406774932313851043.post-48804545659789502502010-08-02T15:07:53.635-05:002010-08-02T15:07:53.635-05:00To realize that goals don’t just belong to the lea...To realize that goals don’t just belong to the leader is a very important concept that many leaders just don’t understand. And, many principals don’t understand that a vision of success for the school is shared among the school community and is more than just an obligatory task to satisfy the central office school improvement planning process. When done with authenticity, a vision sets in motion the nuance in which the school culture is born and nourished. If at the core your philosopy is the "whole is greater than the sum of the individual parts" then you grasp the power of collaboration and teamwork--key elements of transformational leadership.
